Right at the start of the exhibition, you’ll come face to face with Czech forensic science and some of its most famous casesDiscover how Czechia has contributed to the world of forensic investigation and use an interactive map to follow the trail of Prague’s most notorious crime.
Step into the world of forensic science and discover just how much a single clue can reveal! With your Detective’s Notebook in hand, you’ll learn how detectives solved crimes in Sherlock Holmes’s time – and why their methods were incredibly advanced for their day.You’ll then put what you’ve learned to use as you work to solve the case.
At the interactive stations, you’ll get hands-on experience with the principles of ballistics, bloodstain analysis, toxicology, and other forensic techniques.The foundations of these methods were developed more than a hundred years ago, and many of them, in various forms, are still used in criminal investigations today. You’ll record your findings and results in the Detective’s Notebook,which you’ll receive at the beginning of the interactive part of the exhibition.
Visit the legendary 221B Baker Street, discover more than 200 authentic artefacts,see original costumes from the famous film series, and try your hand at techniques used by real forensic investigators. And that’s only the beginning of your investigation! You’ll become part of an original detective case created especially for this exhibition. Collect evidence, search for clues, and begin your investigation. The case is waiting to be solved!

Sherlock Holmes: The Exhibition is located in the iconic Bílá Labuť department store. a functionalist gem in the very heart of Prague. And now, its spaces are opening up for you into the mysterious world of Victorian London.
Bring your pupils and students to Sherlock Holmes: The Exhibition, an experience that brings together literature,history, and forensic science. Presented under the auspices of the heirs to Sir Arthura Conana Doyla the exhibition features more than 200 original artefacts – from first editions and personal belongings to film costumes and props. It explores the author’s life and work,the origins of the Sherlock Holmes phenomenon, and the development of forensic methods. Exhibits on loan from the Police Museum of the Czech Republic and the National Technical Museum provide additional historical and Czech context.
The visit includes an interactive investigation of a mysterious case with escape-room elements, in which students search for clues, examine evidence, and use their powers of observation and deduction.Younger visitors can take part in the Children’s Trail, featuring age-appropriate tasks.
The bilingual Czech-English exhibition also helps develop language and literary skills while introducing the historical context of the period and authors such as Oscar Wilde, Rudyard Kipling, Mark Twain, and Jack London.For teachers are available on the website worksheets and quizzesand can be used for follow-up classroom activities.
The exhibition is an ideal complement to lessons in literature, English, history, and other subjects for primary and secondary school students. It is open daily until 10 January 2027 at the Bílá labuť department store on Na Poříčí in Prague, near Florenc metro station (lines B and C).

Ano, výstava je bezbariérová, tudíž vstup na invalidním vozíku je možný. Využijte krajního, pravého výtahu a směřujte do 3. patra. Vstup s kočárkem je také povolen.

Neznamená to, že musíte dorazit pouze ve 12:00. Pokud vás na cestě zastihnou nečekané komplikace a nestihnete přijít včas, vaše vstupenka nepropadne.
