Forget about ordinary exhibitions. This is a game of facts, deduction and logic. The dark alleys of London, ciphers hidden in the smallest details, and clues that only the sharpest minds will uncover. Every step brings you closer to the truth — while making you question everything you thought you knew.
Immerse yourself in investigating the most baffling crimes. Put your sharp mind, eye for detail, and the finest 19th-century forensic methods to the test. Only the boldest and most observant will be able to outwit the master of deduction himself — and perhaps even rewrite the rules of the game. More than 200 authentic exhibits, dozens of interactive stations, and a perfectly atmospheric recreation of Victorian London await you.
The exhibition also sheds light on the man behind the legend, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle — his life, his inspirations, and his fascination with science and logic, which gave rise to the most famous detective of all time: Sherlock Holmes.
You'll find Sherlock Holmes: The Exhibition inside the iconic Bílá Labuť gallery — a gem of functionalist architecture right in the heart of Prague. Its halls have now been transformed into the mysterious world of Victorian London.
Thanks to its excellent accessibility in the city centre, the Bílá Labuť gallery is the ideal starting point for an adventure that begins quietly…
…and ends with the truth revealed.
Experience a real detective investigation together with your students.
Follow in Sherlock Holmes's footsteps and step into the atmosphere of Victorian England.
Examine the crime scene, put your deduction skills and imagination to work, and uncover the truth.
More than 200 original artefacts and over 25 interactive elements await you. Through observation and deduction, students
don't just solve a crime — they get genuine insight
into investigative methods still used by detectives today. The exhibition partners
with the Police Museum of the Czech Republic, so students will also discover a unique Czech invention – dactyloscopy.
Arthur Conan Doyle was a major British writer, and the exhibition also
pays tribute to other writers of his era — Oscar Wilde, Rudyard Kipling, Mark Twain
and Jack London — These are great authors whose short stories and novels have long been part
of the mandatory reading list. We believe that thanks to this exhibition, students will discover
that literature from the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries can be entertaining and very readable.
